There are a number of things that you want to keep on you or in your carry-on
for easy access and safety.
If traveling abroad, you need your passport. You'll need your driver's license
or picture ID for domestic travel.
Keep your medical and auto insurance cards in your wallet along with your credit
cards, Travelers Checks, and any coupons you may need. It's a good idea to keep
one dollar bills handy for tipping as well as a small supply of local currency.
Most importantly, keep your tickets (airline, cruise and/or train) as well as
an itinerary with confirmation numbers, addresses and phone numbers and all your
travel brochures or maps handy.
